01 The miss
Custom prices expired quietly and the customer got a bill shock.
Corrected Override Watch K.A.
02 The machine
An n8n workflow on a schedule, every weekday morning. It finds every custom price ending in seven days and posts each one to the account manager in Slack. On Fridays it looks further ahead, so a weekend expiry still gets its warning. Co-owned with RevOps.
03 How it runs
- How Override Watch runs, step by step:
- Redash query to n8n
- n8n to Account manager
- n8n to Weekend bridge (a guard)
- Weekend bridge to Account manager (a guard)
04 Under the hood
- The oldest machine on this page: running since February 2026.
- Runs every weekday at 09:00. On Fridays the window stretches from seven days to nine, so a price ending over the weekend still gets its warning.
- The query does the finding; n8n runs it and posts each price to the right account manager.
- Co-owned with RevOps.
